The 2007 summer season has ended and we had a successful summer year at Greenwood Park/Bells Lake. The weather was great, the swim club events were fun with the activities, friends and family got together for barbecues, volleyball, movie night, teen splash, and other exciting activities. We all look forward to a successful 2008 summer season.
The elections in October have been finalized and the five people elected to serve a three year term are:
· Jackie Hill
· Bunny Lyons
· Patti Mazella
· Frank Petaccio
· John Striano
The Board extends it gratitude to everyone who took part in the elections. A special note of thanks goes to John Damaini, Mark Devone, Drew Freeman, and Lindy Piotrowski for their years of dedication and hard work.
The Elected Executive Board for the 2007-2008 season: President: Mark Laible, Vice President: Frank Gervasi, Treasurer: Bob (Archie) Karcher, and Secretary: Roseann Jannetti-Mankus.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Joelle Rossi for volunteering to take over the task of updating our website. Be sure to periodically visit the website for any updates during the off season. GREAT JOB JOELLE!!!!!!!!
Fishermen- We will be lowering the lake in a few weeks for vegetation control. Water level will be restored in early March.
In addition, the Greenwood Park Frogs swim team had another successful year. The Frogs are a team of the future, carrying on the great traditional. Our new coach, Lauren O’Donnell and the assistant coaches did a great job!
