The 2010 summer season at Greenwood Park/Bells Lake is FINALLY here! The summer weather, swim club events, activities with friends and family as well as barbecues, movie night, teen splash, washers and the Frogs swim team.
NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM: Please re-welcome to our staff the new manager, Charlie Zimmerman (Promoted from Assistant Manager in 2009) and Assistant Manager Bill Malone (Promoted from Senior Lifeguard). Charlie and Bill are very experienced and will do a great job.
MEMBERSHIP: You will receive your membership cards this week if you have paid in full. If you haven’t paid in full, please do so as soon as possible so that your cards can be ready for pick up at the pool this weekend. If you have gotten the wrong color membership card, please bring it to the pool and get it exchanged for the right one. There are still 2010 memberships available. If you need an application please visit our website (www.bellslake.com) or call 856-374-1294 to obtain one.
FROGS SWIM TEAM: The Frogs swim team is off to another successful year in 2010. If you’re interested in learning more about the swim team please contact John Striano (jstriano552224@comcast.net) our Swim Team Chairman or Erik Pedersen (eped3226@comcast.net) Tri-County Swimming rep. GO FROGS!!!!
IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CLUB: We have made the following improvements to the swim club in 2010:
· A new diving board and new starting blocks were installed at the pool. · The parking lot has been resurfaced and painted. · The sheds have been painted and new roofs been installed. · A new roof was installed on the main building. · Enhanced electric service has been installed at the patio to better power DJ’s and bands. · Lighting was installed for the basketball court.
ENTERTAINMENT: We have a great summer planned with bands, DJ’s, activities, etc in 2010. Please continue to check the board when you enter for all the dates or the website at www.bellslake.com. Great job to Concetta for her organization of these events!
EASTER EGG HUNT: Our annual Easter Egg Hunt was a success this past March. We had over 200 people attend and look to continue the tradition in 2011.
OPEN HOUSE: We are having an open house at the pool on Sunday June 6. This is a day that you may bring your friends and their families to the club for free. Board members will be available to give tours of the club to guests if they wish to have one. There will be a DJ to entertain them as they enjoy the amenities of our club.
