The 2010 summer season at Greenwood Park Bells Lake is quickly approaching. We are approximately four months away from summer weather, barbecues, volleyball, movie night, teen splash, frogs swim team, and other exciting activities. Please check the website often at www.bellslake.com for scheduled upcoming events such as the Easter Egg Hunt and spring clean up dates. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in these events.
BOARD MEETINGS: If anyone is interested in attending a board meeting, please remember that the first 15minutes of each meeting is dedicated to any member wishing to address the board with any issues. Board meeting are held at Washington Township Municipal Building on Egg Harbor Road the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm.
FROG NEWS: The Greenwood Park Frogs swim team had another successful year in 2009. The Frogs are a team of the future, carrying on a great tradition. If you’re interested in joining the swim team, please contact John Striano (jstriano552294@comcast.net) our Swim Team Chairman or Erik Pedersen (eped3226@comcast.net) Tri-County Swimming rep. GO FROGS!!!!
LAKE NEWS: Weather permitting; the lake level will be restored in early March, so get your gear ready and tune up your boat. Please be sure to renew your boating privileges when filling out your membership application. If you are not planning on renewing your membership, your boat must be removed from GPBLCC property and your key returned to us by April 1, 2010. There are still several boats on the property without valid stickers. If you have not already talked to Patti about this, please contact her immediately. Any boats without stickers will be removed during our spring clean-up. Finally, please be sure to lock the gate when you are out on the lake and when you leave. Questions? MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION: You will be receiving your 2010 membership applications shortly. We have updated the credit card feature and you can now make partial payments. A one time $20 processing fee will be added to your first entry. If you elect to pay in full, the $20 fee will automatically be added to the total amount due. Please log onto www.bellslake.com for more information concerning processing payments with your credit card.
We have also introduced a new refer a friend policy. Any current member referring a friend to join as a new member will receive five free guest passes to use during the season (not valid July 4th).
