The 2009 summer season at Greenwood Park/Bells Lake is quickly approaching! We are approximately five months away for summer weather, swim club events, activities with friends and family as well as barbecues, volleyball, movie night, teen splash, frogs swim team, and other exciting activities.

IMPROVEMENTS: The Board of Directors has been meeting through the fall with the objective of enhancing the swim club’s property. The biggest change for the 2009 season is the leveling of the property on the lower grounds between the newest party tent and the lake. Two EP Henry hard scape retaining walls have been installed to secure this area of the grounds to level the property. This will provide additional picnic area for all to enjoy this season.  Check out our website mid-January for photos of the process and completed project.

Stay tuned!  We will have further enhancements prior to the opening of the swim club in May and will advise with our Spring Newsletter.

We believe the improvements will help continue to keep Greenwood Park Bells Lake Community Club as Washington Township’s PREMIER swim club!

The Greenwood Park Frogs swim team had another successful year in 2008. The Frogs are a team of the future, carrying on the great tradition. If you’re interested in joining the swim team please contact Rob Mele (kyramele@comcast.net) our Swim Team Chairman or Erik Pedersen (eped3226@comcast.net) Tri-County Swimming rep. GO FROGS!!!!

Lastly, you will be receiving your 2009 membership applications for processing by approximately the middle of January.  We have updated the credit card feature. Your payment can be made now by using the partial payment feature. Monthly payments can be made at your convenience for a one time $20 processing fee. It would be your responsibility to add the one time processing fee of $20, when it is convenient for you, preferably on the first visit. If you elect to pay in full the $20 processing fee will automatically be added on. Please log onto www.bellslake.com for more information and processing payments with your credit card.
